Summer Strings Intensive Curriculum
Summer Strings Intensive Curriculum
The Summer Strings Intensive curriculum is designed to mirror the rigorous conservatory training of UNCSA's academic year experience. Students engage in individual lessons, chamber music coachings, master classes, chorus, and music theory classes for full-day schedules coupled with ample practice time. The program concludes with a student showcase performance, recorded with UNCSA's professional-level audio-visual equipment.
For students preparing college audition videos, additional opportunities to record can be scheduled within the Strings Summer Intensive at additional cost. Movie night and other university-organized social activites are available outside program hours for both residential and commuter students.
