Eligibility
The target age range for those wishing to participate in Summer Composition/Music Technology is from rising high school freshman through rising college sophomores. Students living less than 25 miles from UNCSA must attend as commuter students. Acceptance is based on program capacity and housing availability. The program will likely fill prior to the May 1 application deadline. Applying early is recommened.
Application Details
Complete the online application and payment and submit audition materials no later than May 1, 2026. Applicants recommended for acceptance by their program director will receive an acceptance email within 10 business days with instructions for securing their spot in the summer intensive. Please note that this program utilizes rolling admissions and may fill prior to the application deadline. Applying early is recommended.

Submit two original compositions and one letter of recommendation via links to sharable Google Drive or One Drive folders through the form above. Scores should be submitted in .pdf format and may be supplemented with recordings in .mp3 format.
