Current Status
12-4-2025 5:30 PM
Due to the potential for wintry mix and hazardous travel conditions, the University will move to Condition 1 (Reduced Operations) at 3 a.m. on Friday, Dec. 5 through 10 a.m. that morning, when normal operations will resume. During Condition 1, the University is open, but some operations may be reduced. Classes will be held. Individual faculty may adjust class schedules and allow for work to be made up. Non-mandatory employees have the option to not report to work and, with supervisor approval, work from home or an alternate site. Doors will be accessible only with One Card credential.
For those involved in “The Nutcracker,” buses will depart UNCSA for the Tanger Center as originally scheduled.
UNCSA urges students and employees to use their best judgment when deciding whether to travel. UNCSA’s Adverse Weather Regulation provides guidance for all employees and students when inclement weather conditions exist.
