Applications for the 2026 Summer Intensives received after May 8 will be placed on a waiting list pending review of housing and program spaces.  Applicants may join the waiting list and submit a statement of interest form at no charge. 

Application Instructions

To apply for the Summer Visual Arts Intensive, complete an online application and submit a Statement of Interest using the forms linked below no later than May 1, 2026. UNCSA Visual Arts Summer Intensives faculty and Community and Summer Program staff will review applications and send registration links to accepted students within 10 business days. Space is limited, and students will be admitted to the Visual Arts Summer Intensive in the order of their applications until program and residence hall spaces are full. The program utilizes rolling admissions and is expected to fill well in advance of the application deadline. Applying early is recommended. Students living 25 miles from UNCSA must attend as commuter students.
