UNCSA Merit-Based Scholarships
UNCSA Summer Dance offers a limited number of merit-based scholarships to our intensive. To be considered for merit scholarship, applicants must complete all audition and application requirements prior to March 30, 2026. Once you have completed your audition and received a letter of acceptance, you may contact Mr. Ilya Kozadayev at summerdance@uncsa.edu for information about applying for a small scholarship. UNCSA Need-Based Scholarships
The Summer Dance Scholarship is designed to provide financial assistance to talented students who demonstrate financial need, ensuring access to our program for those who may require support. This need-based scholarship aims to make the Summer Dance experience more accessible for students passionate about advancing their dance education. UNCSA Summer Dance partners with various scholarship organizations to offer additional financial resources for students interested in attending our program. For inquiries or how to apply, please contact the organizations directly, using the information in the linked below.
Deadlines and Payment Schedule
Admissions to UNCSA Summer Intensives are conducted on a rolling basis and students will be admitted in the order of their audition materials review/program acceptance/deposit payment. Consequently, programs may fill prior to the application deadline. Students may be added to a wait list and accepted after the deadline at the discretion of the program director.

| Half Payment Deadline | April 1, 2026 | 1/2 total program cost is due to hold the student's place in the program. Enrollments between April 1 and May 1 require immediate minimum payment of 1/2 the total program cost to save the student's place. |

UNCSA Summer Dance Intensives use rolling admissions to accept students until residential housing and program capacities are met. Programs expected to reach capacity prior to audition deadline. Applying early is highly recommended. |

*Students who have not paid the deposit will be marked as waitlisted until the deposit is paid. Students applying for need-based scholarships from UNCSA or our partner organizations may request a postponement of the deposit due date until scholarship awards are announced.
Please note that fees are subject to change. Call 336-770-3259 if you wish to set up a monthly payment plan. Payment plans will be set up to adhere to the payment deadlines above. Summer Programs are not eligible to accept funds from 529s.
Cancellations
- $200 non-refundable deposit due immediately upon acceptance: check or credit card.
- Student withdrawal by May 1: Refund of half the amount paid
- Student withdrawal after May 1: No refunds
In the event a program is canceled by UNCSA, payments will be refunded in full.
